Protecting People is Everyone's Responsibility
Protecting People covers Child Protection, Adult Support and Protection, Violence Against Women, Substance Use, Public Protection, Humanitarian Protection and Suicide Prevention
This Framework is intended as a tool to assist managers, supervisors, individual workers and carers (paid or unpaid) from all agencies to identify which group of the workforce they belong to and plan appropriate learning about Protecting People. It contains information about learning and workforce development resources to help you develop the necessary competencies, knowledge and skills that you need. It is relevant for all paid and unpaid workers from private, third sector and statutory services.
To help workers and carers consider their relevant learning and development needs, the Framework is based on three workforce groups which describe the role and responsibilities workers have for the protection of people. The workforce contact groups are: General Contact, Specific Contact and Intensive Contact
Use the menu at the top of the page to explore more about these workforce groups and navigate through the Framework.
